Learning is just beginning.......
I think this article is very thought provoking, on one hand it is talking about new and evolving education and on the other hand it is saying there is nothing better than face to face universities.
I think the article had some great points for us as educators, to consider and embrace. We need to believe in the students, give them the tools to investigate their own learning, and not just fill them with answers.
We need to make sure we prepare them for the 'everyday surprises', teach at the point of need, encourage them to solve interesting problems, and adapt to the learning styles of our students.
An interesting thought was the notion of students not adapting to the system, but the system adapting to students. Is this what they will find in the workforce?
I think learning has begun, but is evolving!

Chapter 1 - A Rich Seam
I think for this to work at ISPS we need to collaboratively support the new learning with staff as well as students. Teachers need to support each other through a repertoire of teaching strategies and encourage their ability to from partnerships with students in discovering and mastering content knowledge.
Our goal is to enables students to discover, create and use knowledge in the real world faster, with authentic audiences. This will enable the deep learning goals of creating and using new knowledge in the world.
How we assess and measure learning will be an ongoing discussion as we find new ways to measure deep learning outcomes.
